The Morooka is a large tracked carrier that can undertake CPT testing in combination with our Pagani or Lynx-200 rigs. This rig has large rubber tracks that allow it to access soft sites, yet have a heavy reaction weight (up to 22 tons) without the need for anchoring.
Capabilities
Used in combination with one of our CPT rigs the Morooka tracked carrier provides additional push capacity. This large rubber tracked machine has the following capabilities;
- 15 to 22 ton weight and 2.9 m wide
- 15 to 20 ton push capacity depending on rig and ballast combination
- CPT, SCPT and SDMT testing
- Dynamic probing (depending on rig setup)
The maximum depth capacity for in situ testing is 40 m+.
